We were super stoked to have Bachelorette heart throb, James Trethewie, join as at Vive Active this month for our kick-off Brolates night to help raise funds for the Movember Foundation.
His appearance even made newspaper headlines, with the Daily Mail reporting:
“It’s a workout regime that typically usually attracts women.
But on Wednesday, Bachelorette star James Trethewie was breaking down stereotypes at the launch of a new Pilates studio in Sydney.
The 31-year-old was all smiles at male-only Pilates class at Vive Active, in support of the Movember Foundation.
He looked ready to test his flexibility and muscle strength, dressing for the workout in green shorts and a dark grey T-shirt with the slogan ‘real men do Pilates’ emblazoned on his chest.
‘I’d seen pics of Pilates before and thought –”how hard could it be?” Boy was I wrong!’ James said.
‘The team at Vive Active smashed us – I’ve never heard a room full of men in that much pain before!’
Also at the event, which was designed to encourage more men to participate in reformer Pilate while raising money for Movember, was former Biggest Loser trainer and men’s health advocate Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.”
