Nickname: Adeles / Ads / Lazle / Saffy / Diddles / Aunty Puddles (cos I cry a lot!) / Radelaide (cos I’m RAD!)
Adelaide began dancing at Dance North Academy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches at the age of 6 and hasn’t stopped yet!
The spark was ignited early and she has trained in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz and musical theatre for the past 25 years. Adelaide was accepted on full ballet scholarship at Redland’s for her high school years, and whilst completing her schooling also completed up to and including Advanced 2 with the Royal Academy of Dance. She was also accepted as an interstate student with the Australian Ballet at the age of 14.
After completing year 12, Adelaide accepted a contract with the Moulin Rouge in Paris where she performed as Soloist and snake soloist for 3 years. She was lucky enough to also perform on tour with the Moulin Rouge in India, Germany, Austria, Japan and at the Melbourne Cup with Mumm Champagne. Adelaide has also danced professionally on contract in Japan, China, Greece and on an international TV show based in Rome, Italy.
After returning to Sydney, Adelaide was contracted on Sydney Showboat and as a performer and later on also as Dance Captain. Whilst performing on the boat, Adelaide completed her training in Stott Pilates and from there her desire to keep learning about the body began! She also began teaching Xtend Barre, has taught at multiple dance schools on the Northern Beaches and also as a regular teacher at Sydney Dance Company studios in the Rocks. Adelaide has now completed a degree in Physiotherapy, which combined with her dance background and passion for pilates, has made her into a triple threat at Vive Active.
Adelaide is super excited to be training at Vive Active, with the awesome team, state of the art facilities, and incredible workout. She looks forward to helping you get your body moving better and feeling long, strong, and flexible.
