My name is Lauren and I am a pilates instructor, a naturopath, a nutritionist and most importantly a mum.
I started my journey into the health industry when I studied nutritional medicine at 21 years old and went on to study herbal medicine soon after.
In my final year of study, I fell pregnant with my daughter, Lily. Fast track to when Lily was 9 months old and I had been training with a fitness group for 6 months, busting my guts, I still had a bit of baby weight, I wasn’t toned and my abdominal separation was still 10cm! Unhappy with the results, I looked for an alternative and that’s when reformer pilates changed my life. I started with 2 classes a week and was soon addicted, so I continued to add an extra class a week and now if I don’t go daily, I get the shakes! The biomechanical exercises made my joints happy, my abdominal separation started to close and my body now looks incredibly fit. I’m so proud of myself but I definitely couldn’t have done it without that amazing pilates machine! A year on and I knew I had to study pilates so that I could help other mums like me and just people in general.
I love being able to offer my clients nutritional and naturopathic advice as well as pilates. My style of training is fast paced, I love to build up a sweat and work on my muscle endurance while still having a lot of fun.
